In May, Norwich will play host to the Radio 1 Big Weekend, featuring Taylor Swift, Years & Years, Florence & The Machine and more! The 50,000 tickets went on sale this morning but were sold out in less than 1 hour! If (like many) you were unable to get tickets and you’ve got talent, then maybe YOU could be a star of the future. Have YOU got the X Factor? Well, the huge show is bringing its audition pod to East Anglia to find the stars of tomorrow.
On April 7th, open auditions take place at the Buttermarket in Ipswich, from 9am until 5.30pm with a casting team checking out the homegrown potential.
The show’s audition pod is coming to Ipswich in a bid to find some homegrown, natural talent. The auditions will also take place in Cambridge on April 4, Norwich on April 6 and Chelmsford on April 9.
Scott, from our Ipswich store, said that the area has a rich heritage of successful applicants and hopes that it’ll be someone local who goes on to be crowned this years winner (or better yet, a runner up!)
