When the oven has been left on and hasn’t been touched within a certain time period, it will turn off automatically; a nice little feature for forgetful folks like me!
Heating features also include top/bottom heat. This provides conventional heat at the top and bottom of the oven. Heat travels to the centre of the oven by natural convection and is the best setting for turning out perfect pastries and seamless scones.
In addition to hot air grilling, there are full surface grill and centre surface grill functions, too. Healthier, grilled meats get outstanding results with the EcoRoast function. In EcoRoast mode the grill element cycles on and off alternately and the fan distributes the heat evenly. This can reduce cooking times by up to 40% and is wonderful for creating a rotisserie finish to your chicken.
Bread bakers will be in their element (pun intended), too thanks to the proving programme & bread baking settings. You can use the proving heat function for leaving yeast dough and sourdough to prove and even for culturing yogurt. Your dough will prove quickly and it won’t dry out.
EcoClean and Bottom Clean will make cleaning easier thanks to a self-cleaning catalytic material on the top and sides of the oven while Bottom Clean works to clean the oven floor – at the touch of a button.
