In the main oven you’ll find adjustable shelves that are sturdy and easy to transfer and then chunky rotary dials help take the guesswork out of setting your oven. One downside to cooking up a storm is the mess it can create in your oven. Short of layering everything with foil, you’re usually going to need to clean the inside of your oven periodically. Well, those charmers at Hotpoint are one step ahead, again, and have fitted the Hotpoint HAE60KS with catalytic liners. Although the word ‘catalytic’ may make you think of the automotive industry, what these liners do is brilliant. Put simply. They work to absorb and oxidise grease so your cleaning will be reduced to a simple wipe down every now and then. This same, easy-clean approach works on the hobs, too. The ceramic hobs just need to cool then can be wiped with a clean, damp cloth.
