This week, our lucky winner will receive a prize that will get the party started – indoors or out – and keep it going all day and all night! This week, we’ve teamed up with the lovely folks at Bose to launch a competition to win a Bose SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth® speaker! The SoundLink Revolve+ is Bose’s best-performing portable Bluetooth speaker to date. There’s more to hear and more to share, so we let one of our reviewers take it for a test weekend. Read on to find out more and to be in with a chance of winning one in our fantastic free-to-enter competition.
The first thing that struck me is the size and design. The speaker itself is seamless and relatively small. Don’t let the pint-sized design fool you though; this Bose speaker is packed with more technology than you’d think it’s possible to fit in. Of course, you can’t see what’s on the inside, but it’s there that the sound quality is brought to life. There’s an incredibly efficient downward-facing transducer that works in conjunction with the acoustic deflector to deliver the 360° sound. Dual-passive radiators reduce wasteful vibrations by using it to create acoustic output. There’s an omnidirectional acoustic deflector which ensures the sound is spread evenly, with no dead zones.
Ingenuity is evident in everything from the seamless design to the incredible sound quality. The speaker delivers true 360° sound and has been engineered to spread deep, jaw-dropping sound around the whole circumference of the speaker. What this means is no matter where everyone stands around the speaker, they will get the same experience. Set the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ near a wall – inside or outside, and be immersed in sound that radiates and reflects all around. So, you’ll get lifelike sound… and real-life goose bumps.
This speaker is designed to be moved about and it withstands a lot. There’s a flexible fabric handle to make the SoundLink Revolve+ easy to move and take wherever you go. There’s up to 16 hours of playback too, so it came with us wherever we went.
In a busy household, with two children under 10, we like things that are robust and this speaker certainly measures up. Accidents happen a lot in this house and this time we weren’t left with a ruined speaker when they did. Bose has created this speaker with bumpers on the exterior. These bumpers are made for bumping, making the SoundLink Revolve+ incredibly durable, no matter where you take it. The design can easily hold up to the heavy-handedness of two small children! It’s also water-resistant so it’s not afraid of a little summer rain at a British barbeque, or being sat near a sink or pool.
Taking control of what to listen to is incredibly easy, thanks to the Bose Connect app. Be the DJ and take control of your SoundLink Revolve+ speaker’s Bluetooth connections easily through the app. You can also get tips, unlock product features and completely personalise the settings to spend more time enjoying the music not setting it up.
If you want even more sound, you can use the app to wirelessly connect two Bose SoundLink Revolve+ speakers to really make your music come alive as instruments and vocals naturally separate.
It’s little wonder that so many people are familiar with the brand of Bose. They are synonymous with the high-end design, development and production of outstanding audio equipment and this Bose SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth® speaker really is no exception.
