The first thing you are likely to notice on this handsome stainless steel appliance is the position of the controls. Zanussi position their dials on top of the cooker, in front of the hob. This gives you several advantages over the traditional position of placing them on the front of the machine. Firstly they are much easier to read, especially if you are tall. Secondly it allows for more space for the ovens. This means that this model has a very generous 72L main “Thermaflow”® oven and along with its 37ltr top oven with grill. To give this some context a 72 litre oven is big enough to cook a 16kg turkey that will feed 12 people (and to have some leftovers for Boxing Day)… an average size Turkey is around 6kg!
Unlike most cookers, it has easy clean catalytic liners in both ovens, which unusually cover the top as well as the sides of both of the ovens. Most ovens with catalytic liners only fit them to the sides. This is especially handy in the top oven where cleaning behind a grill can be particularly difficult.
Looks aside, the standout function on the cooker must be its induction hob which gives you almost instant reaction time, saving time when bringing your pan to the boil and the perfect control to keep it there without accidents. The hob is super-safe too with
its child lock function and, as it does not use heat to operate, there is a reduced risk of burning. You will require compatible pans that work with induction hobs; we stock three pan sets such as the Morphy Richards 970003 from as little as £34.99.
Furthermore, for those of us with busy lives, the Zanussi ZCI68300XM not only has a clock timer on the oven, but also a timer on the hob allowing you to get on with something else, safe in the knowledge that you will not boil the potatoes dry. However, if you do have a spill or just want to correctly care for your cooker we supply the Indesit C00277637 Professional oven and ceramic care pack for only £19.99.
