Vileda are perhaps best known for their excellent steamers and window cleaners, however they are breaking their own boundaries and they have recently brought out their own robotic cleaners. These cleaners are a big technology jump for Vileda and they have exceeded everyone’s expectations. These new robots can run around on hard floors and carpet and when they encounter objects they work their way around them, making sure no spots or corners are missed.
The Vileda works in any size room; you can set it to work in small rooms, medium rooms or even larger rooms. With 80 minutes of run time it can easily finish off a large sized room and – with the noise produced being only 70 decibels – it’s possible to get the vacuuming done while you relax, watching television or listening to music! The Vileda detects stairs and ledges, turning itself around so you don’t have to keep an eye on it while it’s running. If you’re worried about it damaging or knocking down any delicate bits of furniture or just trying to prevent a bit of wear and tear then worry not: this Vileda comes with bumpers to protect both the product and your fixtures and fittings when it’s manoeuvring around.
The convenience of this small robot doesn’t end there; it doesn’t require any bags so there is no additional expense with having to buy boxes of bags. Although the capacity isn’t as large as a stick or cylinder vacuum cleaner, it will easily hold enough dirt to fully clean a large room. With a small docking station supplied with every model, when the robot is full or running out of charge it will automatically return to the docking station, so it won’t get stuck under anything and you’ll always be able to find it – and it’s always ready to go the next time you need it.
As well as producing great cleaning results, the price won’t disappoint either. These robots start at a great price and make equally light work of both hard floors and carpets. You can also choose to upgrade to the full specification model, with a full three stage cleaning system; this includes a side brush to reach right into corners and against furniture, rotating bottom brushes to reach into carpets and remove dust from hard floors and increased suction power.
