The HWJ6500 is a 6.1 soundbar with a wireless subwoofer to go with it. The bar has an output of 142W and the sub of 168W, giving you a massive 310W to reach that perfect audio performance. Connection is easy, you can connect it via “sound connect” to selected current Samsung televisions which will give you the luxury of no wires from the soundbar to the television, with the added benefit of the wireless subwoofer, this gives you that extra slick and clean set-up that everyone desires. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a Samsung television you can still connect with a simple and non-intrusive optical, HDMI or audio cable. Also with the great feature of Bluetooth that allows connection of a portable device such as a smartphone or tablet, you can simply connect your device and then play your favourite music or YouTube clip.
The soundbar comes with a selection of sound features which you can use and even alter, such as the bass level if you like that deep house music or the occasional action film! You can even also the soundbar into a surround room setting or better yet purchase Samsung’s M3 or M5 to create a 5.1 surround sound system, as all these speakers can connect together through the Samsung app to give you that cinema or even concert experience. Also depending on what type of program you have playing through the soundbar you can set it to a cinema, sport, music or even a clear voice function to give you the best sound quality, crystal clear vocals and deep base you’re after. Each speaker also has six amplifiers built-in to give you the perfect low and high frequencies which helps stop distortion.
With the subwoofer being wireless it’s even easier to hide it out of site to allow you to keep it looking tidy in the living room. The subwoofer will also automatically connect to the bar when setting up, so there’s no messing about trying to link the sub with the bar.
So in summary, the Samsung HWJ6500 soundbar is a brilliant buy! With one of the best sound qualities I have ever heard from a soundbar and the user friendliness just makes it that much more appealing. The slick design and look of the soundbar makes it stand out and look natural anywhere, whilst accompanied with the wireless subwoofer to keep things versatile. I bought this HWJ6500 last year and have been over the moon with it!
