If you’re used to drinking your white wine straight from the fridge and your red wine at room temperature then you could be missing out. You’ll be amazed at how much difference a wine chiller can make to this alcoholic beverage of choice.
The Hostess HW02MA Wine Chiller will make sure the wine you’re drinking is at the optimum temperature. Not only will it cool your white wine and champagne down, it will also warm red wine up… as red is at it’s prime at a much warmer temperature. Each chamber will take a bottle up to 9cm in diameter.
Most people don’t realise that to get the best flavours from a wine it needs to be at that perfect temperature. The HW02MA has two independent chambers, so you can cool a bottle of white while simultaneously warming a bottle of red, to please everyone.
Each chamber has independent temperature control which can be set at anything from 5°C to 19°C using the easy to use menu system and digital display. Helpfully, the instructions include the best temperatures for many popular white & red wines, as well as champagne/sparkling wine.
The LCD display shows the temperatures set and a bar graph of how close the wine is to reaching this temperature. Once reached the unit buzzes, the blue “ready” indicator lights up and the display thoughtfully reads “enjoy”. The unit will then cycle on and off to keep the wine at the correct temperature until needed. It’s compact size also means it will be easy to find a place to put it, in any size kitchen.
