Residents and visitors to Great Yarmouth town centre are advised to be on the lookout for roaming mini mammoths! Throughout May to 14th June 2015 the Mini Mammoth Trail and Competition will run as part of the exciting build up to the annual Great Yarmouth Arts Festival.
Spot the mini mammoths in shop windows and on market stalls and win free tickets for the festival. The festival, which runs from 5th – 14th June attracts bigger crowds and more amazing events each year; to read more about the festival and to find out what’s on, download the full programme here.
Local knitting groups have knitted mini-mammoths and other prehistoric animals which are being displayed in various shops and market stalls. Each week from the beginning of May the Great Yarmouth Mercury will be publishing a form which readers will be invited to fill in and the reader finding the most mini-mammoths and other animals by each Friday will receive two tickets for a fantastic Festival event.
