From today until the 22nd March, Cambridge will be holding its Annual Science festival. The year 2015 is the UNESCO International Year of Light and Light based Technologies and in conjunction with this the University of Cambridge will be presenting some light-themed talks and hands-on activities during the festival fortnight.
Events will be recreating famous experiments which led to our understanding of light and colour, showing how light technologies are changing our understanding of biological processes and looking in depth at LEDs and the science behind the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics.
Those visiting the festival may want to also visit the Cambridge store at Cherry Hinton road. There you can check out the latest and greatest LED technologies employed in our Televisions. The invention and application of LEDS have allowed TV’s to produce better brightness levels than ever before. So the TV’s we sell and rent not only have more vivid colours, but also LED TV’s use less power than all TV technology that have preceded it.
We also now stock a good range of household LED based bulbs and lots of latest tech as well… All of which is guaranteed to brighten up your life!
