The Samsung UE43J5500AKX is a testament to Samsung’s ingenuity to fit great quality and features into a mid-price range TV device. The TV offers some great features to the viewer, not least the fantastic picture quality that’s consistent whatever you’re viewing – films, sports, social media or gaming.
The UE43J5500 packs a 400 PQI resulting in realistic tranquil colours, greater depth and deep blacks to all media, this is also thanks in part to the other technologies packed into this device like Micro Dimming Pro and the ultra clean view technology. While putting out this quality experience, this device is also suited with a Quad-core processor to super charge it to handle all manner of tasks to keeping the experience smooth and fast.
While being a great viewing experience this TV also runs a Tizen Operating system, bringing you all your favourite streaming apps like Youtube, Netflix and Amazon Instant. If that wasn’t enough there are also small games you can directly download to the TV. On top of these features the TV has an integrated Freeview HD tuner, bringing some of your favourite channels in crisp HD – free of charge. The user interface on the Smart Hub and other menus throughout the system are easy to use and the arrangement of the smart systems and normal TV options are laid out well.
On to the in-built speakers. As you may know, many TV speakers are often ‘tinny’ and don’t provide much depth and lack raw quality. Samsung have equipped this TV with great speakers. Putting the sound type on the settings menu to ‘Movie’ really brings out the quality and depth that these speakers are desperate to provide. A Samsung soundbar would complement the TV further still, giving a real “at the movies” audio and visual experience.
The overall build and look of the device is attractive yet simple with clean edges and curves, it is Samsung’s own twist on how a TV should really look.
In summary, having used and experience all that this TV has to offer, I am highly proud to say I am going purchase this TV before Christmas as the whole experience you get with this TV is truly spectacular!
